Death of Innocence

My debut release, Death of Innocence, tells the story of Annette McGavigan, a 14-year-old girl killed during The Troubles in Northern Ireland. She was in her school uniform, holding an ice cream, when a bullet took her life.

The title comes from my father, Tom Kelly’s, mural of the same name—a tribute to Annette, who was his childhood friend. But this song isn’t just about the past. It’s for every child lost to violence, in Northern Ireland and in conflicts still happening around the world today.

This isn’t just history—it’s a reality we can’t ignore.
